Overview

This is a patch release and includes the following improvements:

  • OneSearch: Support for short Ticket ID
  • External Ticket Creation: Redirection parameter for Cancel button
  • Notify customer by e-mail about a new note
  • Several bug fixes

Installation/Update

Spider Incident 4.0.551 is bundled with OperationsManager 4.7.1.

This release is bundled with OperationsManager 4.7.1 and cannot be updated standalone.

For a new installation install OperationsManager 4.7.0, then patch to 4.7.1.

New And Noteworthy

OneSearch: Support for short Ticket ID

It is now possible to find Tickets in OneSearch by entering a "short" Ticket ID (only the last couple of digits). e.g. if the Ticket ID is 20181121084825452, then typing just 25452 in OneSearch will also find the Ticket.

External Ticket Creation: Redirection parameter for Cancel button

A new redirect parameter cancelurl for the Cancel/Decline button has been added to the public Create Ticket page. If the user clicks the Cancel/Declines button on the Public Create Ticket page, then a redirect to the cancelurl is performed. 

If the cancelurl parameter is not present, the default redirect url parameter will be uses as fallback.

Notify customer by e-mail about a new note

There is a new checkbox on the AddNote page to send a customer notification e-mail about the added note.

Hint: The checkbox is only visible if the Note is a public message.

The e-mail template can be edited/changed in the Configuration - Notifications section.

  • Create Ticket via REST: It should not be possible to add the same contact more than once.
  • $ticket.lastAgent empty in Ticket-Resolved notification
